How Our College Fairs Work
- Free Transportation
We provide free bus transportation to all High School students who wish to attend our college fairs. We will provide as many buses as you need.
- No Cost
No cost at all to the participating High Schools or school districts.
- Information Cards
A Tote bag is given to each participating student to hold information collected at the fair.
- Prepared List of Questions
A prepared list of questions is given to each student to help him/her solicit the information needed to make informed decisions.
- Time Sensitive
We allocate approximately one hour at the college fair for each participating high school so your students do not miss a full day of school.
- Full List of Institutions and Post Fair Follow Up
Prior to the College Fair, fliers and a list of institutions attending the fair will be sent to the guidance offices.
- 50 – 150 Universities/Colleges in Attendance
Between 50-150 Universities/ Colleges attend each College Fair. Students are never overwhelmed and can go up to the tables and feel comfortable talking with the representatives.
- Breakfast is Served
A hot buffet breakfast is provided free to all chaperones.
- Easy Networking
Our staff schedules High School pick-up times so the event is never overcrowded.
- Universities/Colleges Participation
Over 1,800 Universities/ Colleges and other institutions participate in our College Fairs.
- On-Site Security
Our professional security staff is comprised of experienced and courteous NYPD and FDNY active duty and retired security personnel for your students’ safety.
- Student Barcode Scanning
Students should register at StriveFair.com for a barcode that they can show to college representatives at the fair and get scanned to receive more information about those schools. It free and saves time.
- Student Summary Report Email
24 hours after the fair, every student will receive an email from StriveScan with the list of the colleges that the student met at the fair. The list will include the college’s information, social media links, and the contact information of the representative that they met. This can be useful for creating their first college list
